Brukenet offers custom design and hosting solutions which can take your company from the initial concept stage, through the layout and design stages, and ultimately into the hosting stage -- all with just one company. We handle every aspect of your online presence with professional and friendly service.

Because of the wide range of services offered by Brukenet, we have developed several pricing schedules:

• Flat Rates - Some services are really more a matter of routine than of design and we have set prices for these standard services. Examples of services where a flat rate would apply include domain name registration, configuring dns, setting up new email boxes, installing a Wordpress blog or similar third-party application. Hosting is also an example of a common flat rate service.
• Hourly Rates - Some services are best handled by an hourly rate, particularly when it is impossible to determine exactly how long the service will take or what resources it might require. The most common example of hourly rate services include professional consulting & advising. Most custom graphic design work is also an hourly rate service.
• Project Rates - Sometimes it is necessary to have bids and a budget, particulary for large projects. This is our preferred method for projects that encompass entire sites or multiple sites. When we are approached for particularly large projects we will always try to offer a rough initial estimate with a request for additional information that we may need to form a firmer quote. After we have enough information we will issue a quote for the project which we will honor so long as the project stays within the originally defined scope.

Our rates for services vary by the complexity of the task. Most of our flat rate services, which are by definition somewhat standard, are normally less than $50 and often less than $25. Our hourly rates range from $10 per hour for simple data-entry, $20 per hour for simple xhtml/css coding, $30 per hour for simple php/mysql or javascript custom coding, and $40 per hour for complex coding involving advanced scripting techniques such as ajax or php classes. Our project rates are, of course, highly variable but we can normally take a simple e-commerce idea and turn it into a simple site with an email form response and payment gateway for between $150 to $250. Projects that involve setting up custom affiliate systems, inventory management systems, or other online application suites normally start as low as $800 and can quickly rise to $1500 or more.

Brukenet accepts all major credit cards via paypal, company checks, money-orders, Epassporte, bank wires, Moneygram, Western Union and cash payments. Credit card payments will be invoiced through PayPal, and all other methods of payment can either be accepted in person (within the West Michigan area) or delivered by Federal Express.

We require:

• Payment in full upon completion for flat rate services and projects with a total estimated cost of less than $100.
• Half the total cost as a deposit and the remaining half upon completion for projects with a total estimated cost of $100 or more but less than $1500.
• One-third of the total cost as an initial deposit, one-third at a mutually-agreed half-way point, and the final one-third upon completion for projects with a total estimated cost of $1500 or more.
• Payment in full upon completion for hourly rate services which require less than 10 total hours.
• Payment of the balance due after every full 10 hours of labor for hourly rate services unless other terms are expressly agreed upon by both parties.

In addition, we will require reimbursement for any postage or similar incidental charges incurred which are in excess of 2% of the total cost.
