Brukenet was founded in 2007 by a former laboratory technician named Eric Brockway. Facing the prospect of termination after yet another corporate down-sizing, he decided to take his knowledge of programming and start his own web design business. Taking his company name from his old high-school nickname, he formally opened for business on June 21st of 2007 as Brukenet Web Design.

Eric quickly realized that there are many small businesses that desire and deserve an internet presence but which can not afford the extravagent rates charged by many of the larger web design companies. With this in mind, he set out to carve his niche as a designer and developer for the small business owner - to give them the quality that they deserved but at a price they could afford.

Today Brukenet Web Design has a permanent staff of two web designers, a videographer, and two graphic design artists. Our greatest strength is in our personal attention to all our clients which allows us to bring more value to them than would be possible from a larger, more impersonal design company. We often make a point of not just trying to upsell design services but to actually inform our clients and help them to understand the various advantages and disadvantages of each of the varied options that are availabe for modern websites.

While we strive to add a personal touch to every project, we are also quite diverse. We are able to provide initial consultations, web design & layout, and even custom scripting. Our videographer is able to film and edit short infomercials and instructive web videos for our clients and our graphic designers can make custom animations and images. We maintain close ties with professional marketers and SEO specialists to help drive traffic to our client's sites. Additionally, we offer hosting on our own commercial servers for rates that are well below that of our competition. Because of all these factors, we are able to provide our clients with everything they need, from concept to completion, with a personal touch that they can trust.
